Gilbert and Batchelor is a collaboration between the digital media

artist Sari Gilbert and the historian Dr. Robert Batchelor.

Our work is a response to the paradoxical decline in the status and

representational capacity of historical narrative that has accompanied

the social, economic and technological changes overtaking the globe

from the late twentieth century.

We create documentary artwork utilizing time-based digital media,

projections, installations and sculptures as a recognition and

enactment of scattered memories and forgotten archives.
